In this video I go over what I believe will happen to GPU mining after Ethereum 2.0. When Ethereum goes to Proof of Stake (POS), it will no longer be mineable on graphics cards. So what will happen to cryptocurrency mining when Ethereum is no longer mineable? After ETH 2.0, all the hashrate on the Ethereum network will have to move somewhere. The massive influx of hashrate on other coins is sure to reduce the profitability of mining other coins. But by how much? That is the question I’m trying to answer in this video. By using math, can we calculate how profits for mining will be after Ethereum 2.0 happens? After watching this video I hope you’ll have a clearer picture of what will happen to crypto mining after eth 2.0!
