Is Sans really Ness?
In this video, MatPat postulated that Sans from Undertale is Ness, the protagonist of the game EarthBound (or more specifically, the version of Ness from Earthbound: Halloween Hack, a hack of EarthBound created by Toby Fox, the creator of Undertale).
Did Sans have a mom?

Jevil says “CHAOS, CHAOS!”, “I CAN DO ANYTHING!”, and “METAMORPHOSIS!” for normal attacks, and “BYE BYE!” and “THE TRUE AND NEO CHAOS!” before his “final chaos.” The voice acting, barring the “BYE BYE!” voice line (which is identical in both localizations), is localized in the Japanese version as “カオスだよ、カオスだね!
What does Jevil mean?
Jevil is probably a mixture of the words “jester” and “devil” Jevil’s lines “I can do anything” “Chaos chaos” and “Metamorphosis” refer to the fact that he’s a joker, and the joker in most card games can replace every other card.
“Sans is Ness” is an ironic reference to “Game Theory: UNDERTALE – Sans’s SECRET Identity!”, a controversial episode of the YouTube series Game Theory by Internet personality MatPat about the supposed secret identity of the character Sans from the video game Undertale.
Is Sans aware of Flowey?

Flowey isn’t scared of Frisk, he’s scared of death. It isn’t explicitly stated, but we can assume that Flowey’s biggest fear or most hated thing is dying, he can’t even kill himself, because he’s too determined not to die. Flowey’s already died once when he was Asriel, and he came back to life.
